GEORGE J. SILVA, MD
Dr. Silva opened Mashpee Family Medicine in August 1984. His vision was to offer outpatient medicine to the local population and tourists. Now, 28 years later Dr. Silva continues to assemble an exceptional group of providers, medical assistants, and administrators to deliver outstanding health care services to the community. As a family practitioner and Health Consultant for the Town of Mashpee, he is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice in Family Medicine. Dr. Silva received his undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst and his MD degree from Tufts Medical School in Boston before completing his residency at the University of Connecticut. Dr. Silva has four adult children, four grandchildren and resides in Mashpee with his wife. When he is not in the medical world, he enjoys hiking, painting, traveling, music, reading, boating and spending time with his family.

DIANNE M. WELLS, ANP-BC
Dianne Wells is an Adult Nurse Practitioner with more than 35 years in the medical field, currently specializing in Women’s Health. She received her ANP training from George Washington University and her diploma in Nursing from New England Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing. She has two grown daughters.
MUHAMMAD U. QADIR, MD
Dr. Qadir joined Mashpee Family Medicine in 2009 after completing his residency at Synergy Medical Education Alliance in Michigan. Born in Boston, Dr. Qadir grew up in Pakistan where he received his MD degree from Army Medical College in Rawalpindi and his pre-medical degree from PAG Inter College in Islamabad. Dr. Qadir also served as a Clinical Instructor at Michigan State University. Dr. Qadir is Board Certified in Family Medicine. He resides on the Cape with his wife, who is also a trained physician, and their daughter.
J. BROOKS WATT, MD
Dr. Watt is a Primary Care Adult Medicine physician, board certified in Internal Medicine. Born in Boston, he spent many years visiting Cape Cod, where he currently resides full-time with his wife. He received his education and training in the Boston University system, and has been practicing since 1979. He enjoys golfing and walking on the beach.
KATHLEEN CARROLL, ANP-BC
Kathleen Carroll is an adult nurse practitioner. She received her MSN and ANP training from Simmons College in Boston and her BSN from Emmanuel College. Kathleen received her Diploma in Nursing from the Massachusetts General Hospital School of Nursing. She has spent greater than 25 years working at MGH both in critical care and in ambulatory care. Kathleen lives in Duxbury with her husband and has 3 grown children.
DR. HALDOR P. BARNES, MD
Dr. Barnes joined MFM in 2013. He is a Michigan and Wisconsin native and attended College and Medical School at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with a short stint in the US Army between college and medical school. He practiced Family Medicine in Madison and Wausau, WI until his move to Cape Cod in 1991. On Cape Cod, he practiced until 2003 when he then moved to Central Highlands of Maine, where he worked for the Mayo Practice Associates in the Dover-Foxcroft area until relocation to Cape Cod in December 2012. Dr. Barnes enjoys fishing and photography. He is married with 2 daughters, 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren
NICOLE M. SALTER, MSN, ANP-BC
Nicole Salter is a board certified Adult Nurse Practitioner. She completed her undergraduate education at St. Lawrence University in upstate New York and her graduate masters training from Simmons College in Boston where she received the excellence in clinical practice award in 2007. She has worked in adult primary care in Hyannis for over 7 years. She currently resides in Falmouth with her husband and two young daughters.
